Day 01: ARRIVAL IN TORONTO, ON

Arrive at Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and proceed to your hotel. The rest of the day and evening is yours to explore at your leisure. Downtown Toronto offers the Royal Ontario Museum – Canada’s largest museum of world cultures and natural history located in the heart of downtown, and the Art Gallery of Ontario - it is among the most distinguished art museums in North America with a collection of more than 80,000 works of art. Toronto has a dynamic and diverse culinary scene, so finish off your evening with a mouthwatering meal.

Day 02: Toronto – Huntsville , ON

Before you start your journey, take some time to enjoy the sights. Toronto’s most prominent attraction is the CN Tower, the tallest free-standing structure in the western hemisphere. This famous landmark is more than just an engineering wonder – it’s also an award-winning dining and entertainment destination. Continue towards Huntsville. But before you reach Huntsville you may want to stop in Parry Sound, located approximately one and a half hours west of Huntsville. Take a sightseeing cruise and experience the sparkling water, the windswept pines and rocky grandeur of Georgian Bay’s 30,000 Islands. The world’s largest freshwater archipelago is part of the Canadian Shield, thought to be the eroded roots of an ancient mountain range. These islands have created numerous distinct habitats that support a variety of species which has earned them the World Biosphere Reserve status from the United Nations. Continue on to Huntsville for your two night stay.

Day 03 : Huntsville , ON

You will want to get an early start, the Huntsville area has a lot to offer. There are many hiking trails to choose from including Lion’s Lookout Trail. This trail takes you from the Muskoka River to Fairy Lake. The view from across Fairy Lake is magnificent. Next, check out Muskoka Heritage Place - home of the Muskoka Museum, Pioneer Village and Train. This historical center features two museums, 18 authentic pioneer buildings, and a genuine open-aired train ride, all situated on a beautiful 90 acre site. Nearby is Bracebridge, approximately 30 minutes south of Huntsville along Highway 11. Bracebridge is home to three major waterfalls, all located within a 10-minute drive of the Downtown area. Be sure to check-out it’s charming downtown and visit the local shops, cafes and restaurants. Also in Bracebridge is Santa’s Village, Muskoka’s Theme Park. This one-of-a-kind amusement park has fun for all ages.

Day 04: Huntsville - Ottawa, ON

Your journey from Huntsville to Ottawa will take you through Algonquin Provincial Park. Feel free to stop along the way, the choice is yours. Continue on to Gatineau Park, the Capital’s conservation and outdoor recreation park. The best way to explore this beautiful park is by bike. Enjoy fascinating views from look-outs over the river. Cool off at one of the many beaches during the summer months at the park. All beaches are supervised by lifeguards during the swimming season. Most beaches offer accessible picnic tables, changing and toilet
facilities. Immerse yourself in nature with a hike or walk via the many trails that are available. One of the few places in Quebec with such rich biodiversity, Gatineau Park is a sanctuary for more than 100 species of plants and animals at risk. Continue to your hotel in Ottawa for your overnight stay.

Day 05: Ottawa – Mont Tremblant , QC

Before leaving Ottawa today, explore Canada’s Capital region and Parliament Hill. Each morning during summer months, the front lawn of Parliament Hill is the setting of the daily Changing of the Guard ceremony; each evening the public is invited to gather again to witness the awe-inspiring Sound and Light show. For nearly 200 years the Byward Market has played host to artisans, farmers, and craft merchants who come year round to sell their specialty items and wares. This downtown market, just a short walk from Parliament Hill, also offers many cafes and the city’s best pubs and restaurants. The Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a historic waterway filled with boaters from the spring to fall and the world’s largest naturally frozen ice skating rink in winter. It’s a beautiful place for a stroll no matter the season. Continue on to Tremblant for a two night stay.

Day 06: Mont Tremblant , QC

Enjoy a full day exploring the Laurentians. Take a Panoramic Gondola ride all the way to the top of Mont Tremblant and discover the spectacular view from the highest peak in the Laurentians. With its six great rivers and 400 lakes and streams, Parc national du Mont Tremblant is a canoer’s paradise. It’s a rich mixture of Québec’s natural and historic heritages, and is home to 40 mammal species including the wolf. There is also the Via ferrata du Diable, an intermediate activity between hiking and climbing that will let you discover the park’s
mountains in a way you could otherwise only dream about. During the summer months, cool off at one of the two supervised and serviced beaches or stand up paddle surf on Lac Monroe. Hiking is a very popular activity in this area as well. From a short walk to a more athletic hike, the vast network of trails will show you the real wilderness of the Laurentian Mountains.

Day 07: Mont Tremblant – Saint Michel des Saints , QC

Before you leave Tremblant this morning, make time to visit St-Jovite (known now as Downtown Mont Tremblant). The main street, Rue de St-Jovite, is lined with historic old homes with shaded terraces, antique shops, restaurants, and sidewalk cafes. This lively village also is host to many cultural and artistic events. The picturesque Old Village is a charming country town situated on the shore of Lake Mercer between the Resort Village and Tremblant’s downtown area. The enchanting, picturesque Mont Tremblant Pedestrian Village resembles a true European ski town that gets its charm from its many colorful buildings, cozy inns, boutiques, bistros and art galleries. From Mont Tremblant, you will take the scenic route through the Parc national du Mont Tremblant to St Michel des Saints. Continue on to your hotel for a two night stay.

Day 08: Saint Michel des Saints , QC

Today you will spend the day at the beautiful Parc régional du Lac Taureau and Baie-du-Milieu. This unique area is known for its 45 islands and its many sandy beaches. A full range of activities including canoeing, kayaking, hiking, biking and sailing are at your fingertips in Baie-du-Milieu. To enjoy the most beautiful views of Lac Taureau, explore the Baie-Dominique Trail. The Baie-du-Milieu Trail joins the Baie-Dominique trail and offers a superb viewpoint over the Baie-du-Milieu. A gazebo has been built to admire the landscape. As you walk along
the l’île du Village Trail, explore the region’s tragic history of Saint-Ignace-du-Lac and how it disappeared under the water back in 1931. Interpretation panels have been placed so you can read as you hike along the trail.

Day 09: St. Michel des Saints – Québec City , QC

From Saint Michel des Saints you can take the scenic drive along Chemin du Roy and discover several historical French-Canadian villages. Make a stop at Trois-Rivières, famous for 18th-century style architecture. Just steps from the majestic St. Lawrence River, downtown Trois-Rivières is alive with festivals, restaurants, bars, cafés and ice cream shops as well as its performance halls, museums and art galleries. Stroll through Old Trois-Rivières and discover its rich history and storied past. Admire the architecture and monuments, and stop along the way to read the panels that relate to its history. As you continue your journey to Québec City, you may want to stop at Cap-de-la- Madeleine. This picturesque area is known for Basilica of Cap-de-la-Madeleine, and the Cap-de-la- Madeleine Lighthouse. Continue on to Québec City for a two night stay.

Day 10: Québec City, QC

Today you will explore Canada’s oldest city. Founded in 1608, Old Québec is the only walled city in North America and a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit historical sites including the Petit-Champlain District, Place Royale, the Plains of Abraham and the Parliament Building. Rich in history, the Legendary Place Royale was the first permanent French settlement in North America and home to Notre-Dame-des-Victoires, the oldest stone church in North America. The very first national historic site in Québec and seat of the National Assembly, the Parliament Building was built between 1877 and 1886 and was inspired by the Louvre Palace - making it one of the only French-style institutional buildings in Québec City. Stroll the cobblestone streets in the evening and enjoy one of the many fine dining or casual restaurants featuring the local cuisine. As you walk along the Dufferin Terrace, be sure to take a picture of world-famous Château Frontenac, the most photographed hotel in the world.

Day 11: Québec City – Montréal, QC

This morning, drive a few minutes past Québec City to the Parc de la Chute-Montmorency. It is one of the province’s most spectacular sites. Rising 30 meters higher than Niagara Falls, Montmorency Falls is a “must see”. Explore Via ferrata, a hiking trail on a rock wall that promises a dazzling view of the cove and Ile d’Orléans. Then, take the bridge from Montmorency Falls over the St. Lawrence River to the Ile d’ Orleans. This entire island is a designated historical district. The traditional Québec countryside is preserved here in the “birthplace of New
France”. Experience the island’s plentiful (and flavorful) agricultural heritage nestled amid gorgeous scenery. Continue on to the cosmopolitan city of Montréal. Notable sights include the Notre-Dame Basilica, the Montréal Museum of Fine Arts, Mount Royal Park, and Olympic Park. Olympic Park is home to the Stadium, the Montréal Tower (the tallest inclined tower in the world), the Sports Centre, and other activities including the Biodome, Botanical Garden, and Insectarium. Day 12: Montréal – Kingston , ON

From Montréal you will cross the border to enter in the 1000 Islands region in Ontario. Stop at the Thousand Islands National Park, one of the oldest national parks in Canada. It is comprised of 21 different islands in the St. Lawrence River and three mainland properties on the 1000 Islands Parkway. Explore the secluded bays, picturesque granite islands, and windswept pine trees by kayak. Discover rare species of turtles and birdlife alongside hiking trails and experience the magic of this captivating and historic wilderness. Continue on your
way to Kingston where you will experience the heart of the 1000 Islands, majestic castles and the tales of a thousand legends. Kingston is also a dynamic city known for its gastronomy (successful vineyards and cheese makers), musical events, and museums.

Day 13: Kingston – Niagara Falls, ON

From Kingston you will drive around Lake Ontario to Niagara Falls. On your way, make a stop at Niagara-onthe- Lake, a charming 19th century village. Stroll back through history and enjoy fine dining, shopping, world famous Niagara wineries, farm and agricultural markets, and historical sites including Fort George and the Historical Society Museum. A short drive along the scenic Niagara Parkway leads to Queenston Heights and Niagara Falls. Queenston Heights Park, located high atop the Niagara Escarpent, combines leisure and history in
one scenic location. Continue on to Niagara Falls. Take a legendary boat ride into the very heart of the Falls. For thrill seekers, experience a wild ride on a Jet Boat. For photo enthusiasts, get closer to the falls on a Hornblower cruise. Don’t forget your raincoat, you will get wet! Overnight in Niagara Falls.
